Installing Autocad Live
If you are a CAD user, then you should know that AutoCAD is the most popular CAD system available today. This software is used in construction projects, architectural drawings, manufacturing industry, medical and even electronics industry. The software is also used in many education programs to design and plan educational curriculum. The technology is continuously growing and evolving at a fast pace. One of the developments is the Autocad Live plug-in. In this article you will learn how to install Autocad Live plug-in.
Before learning how to install Autocad Live plug-in, you need to know that it is designed to be installed into the AutoCAD platform. The installation will take some time because it needs to search for the modules. Once the modules have been found, then it will install automatically. Following are the steps on how you can properly and quickly install the Autocad Live plug-in.
Before starting the installation process, you need to turn off your computer and unplug it from the wall. Then you need to open a new window or tab in your Windows system. Open the start menu by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE. On the left side is a button called “start”, if your computer does not see any button or command for that, then something went wrong during the installation process. Also, note that you need to click on “scan” to make sure that everything is running smoothly.
Next, you need to insert the product key. The product key is located under the words “row guide”. It will be beneath the words “language”. If you need help finding the product key, you can search for the term “Autocad Live”. Then, you will need to find the option for “installation” and follow the simple instructions provided.
Thirdly, when you are prompted with an installation type, choose the simplest one, such as “Commando”. You can also choose other more advanced installation types, but if you are new to Autocad Live, this will be helpful. When you have finished installing the Autocad Live plug-in, you should see a startup screen. Click “OK” to proceed with the installation.
After clicking on the start up screen, you will see a progress bar. At this point, you have the choice of installing other Autocad Live plug-ins. If you do not want to configure anything else, then you can click on the “select” option on the toolbar. Then choose “none” to leave all the information later. All other options are explained in the instructions. Click “OK” to close the software application.
The next step is to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. A typical installation process would be like this: Autocad Setup then click next: Next, select “Install Autocad Live”… Follow the onscreen prompts and select “next” to continue. The last step is to click on the “rists” tab to set up your new Autocad Live template. Again, restart your computer when you are prompted.
If your Autocad installation is broken, here are some tips that might help you configure it properly. Although the Autocad setup screens look pretty standard and fairly easy to understand, the actual configuration of Autocad is far more involved and technical than this overview can give you. Therefore, if you have questions or issues about configuring your Autocad Live, I highly recommend contacting a consultant in the area who is familiar with Autocad Live installations and can answer any questions that you may have.
If you have already uninstalled Autocad Live and are now looking to configure it, you can find it in the Applications section of your computer. Open the “Support” menu by clicking on your computer’s start button (or whatever your main desktop button is). Search for an option called “Support” and then click on it. Now you can select “Downloads & Support”. You will see a link that says “Autocad Live Installation”, so double click on it.
Finally, you need to restart your computer to complete the Autocad installation process. To do so, go to the Start Menu at the bottom left corner of your screen and click on “Run”. Enter “regedit” into the text field box and click OK. This will restart your computer and return Autocad Live to your control panel. If you followed a typical installation process, you should be able to view the Logitech Layout Manager icon on the screen.
Once you have restarted your computer, you need to click the “OK” button to start the Autocad setup. If you did not install Autocad Live, you should see the typical installer screen. Select “Map” and then “Create New” to create your layout. You will see a blank document. Click on the “New” button. Follow the typical Autocad installation process, and once your map is finished, save it as a PDF file using the standard PDF viewer.
